There's no deathfest in France except the Soul Grinding Fest (Strasbourg) but unfortunately it's the last edition this year. What about u in Maroc?

LoL, in Morocco, we haven't a good concert, we haven't festivals, just a local band, & the local bands are verry ... :S Bad. excepet 2 or 3 bands.

However there's such an awesome public in Morocco! Friends of mine (FLESHDOLL from Toulouse) played in Casa last december, I've been told it was a fuckin' great show!! Check out some pics and vdz here: http://www.fleshdoll.com

Am I the only one to find that this year the MDF seems to miss the "Death" thing? OK, there's Gorerotted and Vomitory, but mostly it's just Brutal technical bands with a very clean sound...not really my type of Death...

The bandlist is rather good in my opinion. U got old-school scene with bands like Brutal Truth, Extreme Noise Terror, Dead Infection, General Surgery... and the "new school" one with technical bands (ur right!) like Origin, Psycroptic, Cynic, Gorod, etc... but it still remains death & brutal with no fuckin' metalcore bands! Take a look on the Hellfest, it's not the same stuff haha

But the old school is more Grindcore/Death oriented, that's too bad (not that I don't like Grind/Death, it's just not my fave type of Death). Why not Malevolent Creation or Immolation, since they have an album released and are touring? Yes, the bandlist is good, yet i fiind it less interesting than 2006 imo.

Héhé I know what u mean but it's a choice like another and there're so many possibilities of different bandlist I think, actually I appreciate the fact that there will a french band there (just as Zubrowska to the Obscene and Kronos to the Neurotic DF)
